Shortened the Jaguar external gear linkage by 10 inches. Checked operation and all good. Will remove and dress the welds and paint before refitting.

Started to weld on the chassis engine mounts after removing the antiroll bar brackets. Relocated the antiroll bar brackets to infront of the radiator once the rad mounts were moved to make room.

there is near 15mm clearance between the rad and roll bar brackets

Chassis work completed and colour change to black. All suspension refitted and colour change to white. Mmm black and white my favourite team. Steering rack sent to Kiley Clinton for overhaul.

Engine almost ready for degrease and painting.

Today I completed the brake lines. All now in stainless braided hoses.

Also started to paint the engine and gearbox in high temp silver

Today I fitted the propshaft, mounted the alternator and fitted the remote oil filter and hoses. It's coming along but maybe a little slower than I need it to be.

It's really satisfying to see a job being done well.
