Hi all,

Having just changed all my coolant hoses to silicon, filled the system, bled it, I've now found a new leak.....

The metal coolant pipe that runs around the oil sump pan.

Does anyone have one laying around they'd wish to sell? Or know where I can get one from please?

Thanks, Gary

How "handy" are you?

It can be cut back and the rusty bit remade with 15mm copper pipe which will, if it's cleaned up well, solder to the steel pipe.

Another option might be cut it shorter to lose the rusty bit and get a longer rubber/silicone hose to reach scratchchin

New hose, crappy old clip? nono ....... biggrin

Hmmm was looking for a direct replacement to be honest, bolt off, bolt on lol..... have you got one spare in your possession by any chance?

I ran out of clips, so reused an old one that was ummmm perfectly serviceable ha ha

I don't throw much away but I think that after patching/repairing mine a couple of times I did bin it and fabricated a complete new pipe from copper.

Managed to buy one from David Geralds as they are currently breaking an S2. Job done, although the silicone hose that goes from the metal pipe through the bulkhead to the heater matrix is giving me a slow seep. A job for next week to try and get a better deal. But otherwise a job well done
