Firstly, Merry Christmas to all and thanks for all the excellent advice that everyone has given.
On my 1990 S2 both the horn and the high beam flash aren’t working, have checked the fuses, other things that work on same fuse still work and lights work on full beam just won’t flash. Is it likely to be a dodgy stalk or has anyone other ideas I can try first.?

Choice 1 is get a wiring diagram, buy a meter and find the fault.
Choice 2 is keep replacing parts till you fix the fault.
Choice 3 is take it to a garage 😁

The multi-pin connectors either side of the bottom of the rad are a good place to start trouble shooting. They are pretty crap and let in the damp and muck.
Most electrical problems on the 'S' (like all TVR's) can usually be traced to a dodgy earth. Make up a wire you can run to a known good earth (or the battery -ve) and see if the items work.

Many thanks for the advice, apparently Santa is bringing me Steve Heaths Bible so I guess that may have wiring diagrams in. The easy way of course is to take it to the garage, but in my opinion half the fun of having a TVR and especially an S is tackling some of the issues yourself and learning while you do. The advice and help on here is much appreciated.
Thanks
Martin

You'd better ask him for a magnifying glass as well laugh

Here's a lot of electrical stuff for the S cars.
..Elecs..
Zooming in is possible, so you'll not need that magnifying glass. smile
