I can imagine the TVR Board Meeting sometime in the later 1980's.....

"We're loosing money on every Wedge we build, we need a new car!
It needs to be be stylish, cheap to build, reasonably fast (it was in its day) and noisey. Never mind panel fit, general build quality and finish but it must have good sun visors" smile

I'm pretty sure the chimaera used MK2 escort sun visors, might be worth looking at those as an option?

I agree with Jaye, S's are convertibles so whats the point of sun visors if the sun is above the windscreen. I took mine off and it looks much cleaner..just wear sunglasses... wink

Mine were split, foam hanging out and dark yellow and the inner wire frames had started to rust. I was going to just sling 'em but I wondered what they would look like with smoked perspex in instead.

I'm going to paint the frames mat black but this how they look. Total cost £4.50 for the perspex and half an hour with a wire brush, drill and hacksaw.

Not quite sure if they match the car really but for the sake of a fiver I thought it worth the effort.
