Post Covid South West Run. Starting at the Touchdown Cafe Wellesbourne Sat 26th June 10am. Running down to Yeovil (I'm staying at he Airfield Premier Inn). Taking in Stone Henge and the Haynes Motor Museum if you have time. Sunday 27th June run over to Dartmoor (I'm staying at the Travelodge Okehampton Sourton Cross) Then Monday 28th June going to Cheddar Gorge via Linton and Porlock Toll Road. All welcome - just book your own accommodation. This is the route I planned earlier but if you wish to have a copy please message me. You are welcome to join and leave at any point.

Debs and I are on, just modified our hotel bookings. Staying at a B&B (Ingol Bank Farm) Friday night, then Premier Inn Yeovil Airport Saturday night then Travelodge Oakhampton Sourton Cross Sunday night.

Hi all those interested.
The proposed finish day 1 and start day 2 (Premier Inn Yeovil Airfield) is being refurbished and will not be available.

I am looking for another venue to stay at and use as finish/ start - I am not local so need some advice

Could go town centre - The Manor, The Terrace Lodge etc. not sure about parking
Could go rural - Pen Mill which is slightly more expensive but looks good

Day 1 Sat 26th June
Meet at The Touchdown Cafe, Airfield Estate, Loxley Rd, Wellesbourne, Warwick CV35 9EU
We intend to leave at 10am and tour down to a catch up / lunch stop at The Stonehenge Inn, 2 Stonehenge Rd, Durrington, Salisbury SP4 8BN. You can either have lunch there or pop into Durrington to Sainsbury's or Tesco for a sarnie/drink and come back and park n eat. Then onto The Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford, Yeovil BA22 7LH via Stonehenge - those that want to visit can obviously.
Day2 Sunday 27th June
Meet in Pen Mill Hotel, Sherborne Rd, Yeovil BA21 5DB for a 10am depart. Run up to Technical Vehicle Repairs & Servicing South West Ltd, Chelston, Wellington TA21 9ND for a look see and a cuppa.
Then down to Sidmouth and Exeter - possible re-group / lunch halt at The Cat & Fiddle Clyst St Mary, Exeter EX5 1DP and onto Dartmoor to finish at Okehampton.
Day 3 Monday 28th June
Meet at Travelodge Okehampton Sourton Cross, Sourton Cross, A386, Okehampton EX20 4LY for a 10am depart
A tour over Exemoor to Lynmouth and on to The Porlock Hillclimb and a lunch / regroup in Porlock (The Castle?)
Then on to Cheddar Gorge.

A reminder that the tour is still on for this weekend. Suggested re-group and lunch halt - Day 1 The Stonehenge Inn probably around 2 o'clock. Day 2 The Cat and Fiddle about 1:30. Day 3 - open to suggestion, needs to be somewhere between Porlock and Minehead?

Hi mate, possibly. I replied to your email regarding the routes but I didn't see anything come through?

Saturday is out for me anyway as I'm up at twickenham but I may join on the Sunday for the run to cheddar gorge.

A BIG thank you to all who attended / toured / met up. You all made it a memorable trip.

Shame about the weather, torrential rain on Dartmoor and low cloud, then low cloud/mist on the way to TVRSSW and on Exmoor the visibility down to less than 100 mtr, not great for sight seeing. Good roads though.

Could those who attended please do a quick write up and I'll collate into a Sprint article.
