advice on brake pads and discs

After a few good weeks of top down wheather my brake pads have brought the farm,leaving my V8S stranded in my garage and forcing me to drive a Omega every day (please shoot me) so i need some advice. As i work for Ford i get a nice 50% discount of all Ford parts so i am keen to buy from a Ford dealer and save some cash rather than a TVR specialist. I know the brake system is sierra based but from what model ?, for example do cossie brake pads and discs fit or do i get the standard 2.0 ltr jobbies please help. Or i am better spending £100 or so on Greenstuff pads, do you really need the extra performance over standard pads for daily road use. cheers
