I was there 2 months ago and there was a Chimeara and an S2 in the car park. I wasn't in mine but I would say that was a good enough recommendation.

Hi to all, I saw LeeBee (Oxfordshire TVRCC Group meeting) last night and he told me about your planned future meeting. I've just bought a V8S (was Den Lyon's), to replace my trusty old 350i (so now I've got two!)and would like to come along/join in with any S event/group/mutterings. Look forward to getting details/maps of Virginia Water. another green V8S

Below is a link which shows the location of the Pub which is next to the car park at Virginia Waters. Steve Parker, The pub does do accomodation, although I can't personally vouch for it ! Directions will follow this week as we are going to drive it from the M25 spotting Landmarks to make it as easy and comprehensive as possible. If you move North on the map below you will see that it will be J13 that you will come of at. It is pretty easy from there on in to be honest. http://uk.multimap.com/p/browse.cgi?pc=gu254qf&GridE=&GridN=&scale=50000&title=Virginia Waters&cat=h

It's easier to increase the scale to 100,000 to see where it sits in comparison to the M25. One day I'll get the hang of all this available data and how to use it !!!

Ummm. the Wheatsheaf eh, used to use that in my student days, It'd be fun to re-visit it. Problem is I have a griff 500 now but as a few of you know I did have an S3c for nearly 4 years. Rich...

Rich, you would of course be more than welcome as would any other Tiv owners. It would be good to put a face to your name after all these years!

Can I just ask that people show their intent by signing up here:

Sign up: www.pistonheads.com/me/events.asp?action=add&eventId=1674

Who's going: www.pistonheads.com/events/who.asp?eventId=1674

Just so that we can keep a tab on expected numbers.

I haven't forgotten about sorting out directions !

You'll just have to wait a few more days until I'm back from France and then I'll post them on here.

Just trying to make them easy and comprehensive so we don't all end up at different car parks...

Cheers

I have recently purchased a S3 and would enjoy getting together with some other fans of the S series. It's at the doctors being spruced up at the moment but if it's running by November I'll be there.

I've turned my 2 month owned S3 into a pile of bits whilst I sort out the engine, chassis etc. Anyone object to an MGB GT turning up? (Ducks for cover)

There's always one isn't there...!

Bring a piece of your S to prove you own one and we might let you park in the corner
