Buying An S Series

Hi there
New to the site as am looking to buy an S Series in the near future. Can anyone offer hints as to waht to check for/look for and who is a reputable dealer etc. Would love a V8, but susepct can only afford a S3 or S4. Any advise is much appreciated. If they could be emialed to me directly on [e-mail] (I have limited access to the net), that would be even better.

I too have been looking to buy an 'S' series recently although I still haven't made my decision.
I posted my first topic a week or two back and the guys here very kind and replied with some excellent advice and tips… my posting was "S buying advice please…" and is on page 2, I think - take a look.

First thing to do would be to get yourself a copy of the 'S' series Bible - Steve Heath's "The S Series" book. It has everything you could ever possibly want to know about buying, owning, servicing, tuning and racing an S series.

Got my copy recently from WH Smith online, but you can also get one throught the TVR Car Club <www.tvrcc.com> and also from Steve's own website <www.steveheath.co.uk>
