All the retrimming work has gone really well and have had the car back for about 4 weeks now. I haven't had a chance or the weather to get some pictures done to post. As soon as I have I will put them up somewhere.

If not I will be posting ideas for another 'S' meet in the coming weeks and you are more than welcome to have a look round the car then.

I would be very careful using this man.

I used him to retrim the dash on my S2 and recover the seats, he claimed to have used a half hide on the seats, but he did not replace one of the back side pieces - and on closer inspection some of the others, they have since torn.

Regarding the cost make sure he fixes it. He fitted me in between jobs - at his request, the cost started at £400 - the total bill was £1200 (after alot of arueing) - it wasn't worth half that!

Please be careful - I won't use him again!!

I requested on all relevant forums and local groups peoples opinions of John and all I got back was praise.

The only complaint by anyone was about re-connalising of seats which they weren't happy with the result.

I don't doubt you've had issue with John, I had no problems and happily recommend him on that basis.
