Parking near Alexandra Palace?

Anyone suggest some (free?) parking near Ally Pally one evening? Normal place I would park is 40 mins away and so a bit far, plus transport back at 2am will be a bh. I dont know the area so can anyone help?

I used to live on a street 5 mins walk away and there were no parking restrictions.

Last time I went there parking was no problem at all. I parked within 50 metres of the door

They have a load of parking on site, off the western side approach road. Don't remember ever being charged to park there for events.

The streets on all sides have very little in the way of parking restrictions, any that are near the station can have short daytime M-F restrictions just to deter commuters.

I'm planning on parking on site as there is space for 1500 cars I think. Going to get there relatively early (6ish) as the doors open at seven. Glad I'm not the only one driving!

Ah cool. I wont be there til late which sucks, but a mate only gets back from playing hockey at half 6ish, so we'll tank it down and hopefully be there for about 8.
