I've been having a look at this and it appears that despite the congestion charge, cost of parking is unaffected by this. Long term parking costs within the Congestion Zone are £250 p/m upwards, but the really high costs are where they are expected to be. Outside the CZ e.g. Shoreditch are £250 p/m and upwards.
Does the Congestion Charge really come in to play?

I reckon Central London parking costs are not influenced much by the Congestion Zone.

If you live in the Congestion Zone and want your car securely parked then you will pay for it. If you don't live in the Zone but essentially still pretty much in central London then you will pay for it. I don't believe the prices are influenced.

However I have seen spaces on the border of congestion zone priced pretty aggressively offering a commuter the option to drive right up to the zone and then enter the zone on foot for example.

I live in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It is not in the zone.

I don't park any of my cars on the street (I keep 6 here in RBKC). So I essentially have to rent secure spaces on top of the secure spaces that I already own. Not fun !
