Classifying cars by performance

Hi all! I'm new here but I'm doing some research on cars and I thought this could be a good place to find the information that I can't find through Google.

I'm trying to create a classification of cars by performance. Something like...
Low performance 0-100
Average performance 101-500
High performance 500+

I'm not sure about measures as I don't know if I should consider torque, 0-60mph, horsepower, rpm...

What are your thoughts?
