Up thru the Forrest and thru some of Essex & Hertfordshire’s finest country lanes & roads ending up for brekkie @ Frankie & Bennies..
Looking @ meet point for 6.45 with kick off at 7.00 to avoid all the cyclist and church goers..
Meet point just off Waterworks roundabout on the North Circ..
Final details will up closer to the time..
Hoping to make it this time.
Incidentally there's a new monthly car meet being held at North Weald airfield. First was last Sunday and the next one is Sunday 5th August from around 9am.
Check out squadron scramble "cars & coffee" on Facebook. Could be a good end point if we timed a run when it's on? Unless you've all got shares in F&B's ?
And even when not on the breakfast at the Wings Cafe, also at North Weald airfield, is pretty good, decent price.

Afraid I have to pull out of Sunday’s drive, gutted!
Sent my S5 off to get decoked earlier this week and the garage discovered that my swirl flaps have gone kaput. They’ve tried to fix it but it’s not playing ball so new part needed at £600 + VAT. They’ve ordered the part but it means I have no car this weekend. Bloody annoying, hope nothing else breaks!

@NewNameNeeded First unexpected issue since I bought the S5 two years ago, annoyed that I can’t do the Sunday drive. Even more annoyed that it will cost me double what I had budgeted for the decoke and a few other small jobs!
Anyway enjoy tomorrow’s drive, will be back for the next one!
