Best place for all day parking?

Hi everyone I’ll be driving down from Loughborough on Saturday morning, was just wondering where the best and safest car park is for me if I’m going to the cricket? I’ve been told Stanmore is good and there is direct tube to St. John’s Wood. Do you have any other recommendations? Thanks!

Watching the cricket at Lord’s?

Free street parking around St John’s Wood on weekends. The immediate roads around Lord’s will have restrictions on matchday but if you park slightly further away, it should be fine. Recommend this part of the neighbourhood.

Will be absolutely packed around there though won't it?

I spend a lot of time in and around St John’s Wood. The roads closest to Lord’s will probably be packed. The area I suggested is less likely to be so. Remember as well that you can park on single yellow lines during the weekend.
