Garage / Mechanic in SE London

I am looking for a mechanic to service my car (BMW 420d), possibly in SE London or anywhere I can drive easily from Greenwich / Blackheath.

In my past I had few very negative experiences with mechanics: cars returned with new dents on the doors and alloys left with marks (after swapping summer - winter tyres). After these unlucky episodes I have always tried to do all the maintenance on my own, renting a ramp at a workshop specialised in track cars (before I moved to the UK), when required.

But now I don't have the luxury of an off street parking and I don't see myself changing the brake liquid on the pavement. Plus I need a place that will also do the MOT.

I am open to any suggestion, official or independent garages, also not in the area, as long as they treat cars with passion.

You’ve probably found someone by now, but I live near Blackheath and use AMC Vehicle Maintenance on Baring Road ( just south of the south circular / by the junction with Burnt Ash Hill in Lee). 5min walking distance from Lee train station if you need to get into town.
Run by a nice family and have always done great work for my varied cars.
