Having recently moved into a house with no room to work on my car, does anyone know of a place that hires out ramps/garage facilities in the Co Durham area ?

Mainly a ramp to get under the car to rustproof/waxoyl etc

I have found (via Google) Rent a Ramp in Sadberge but that seems to be the only one ?

Are there any places such as rent-a-ramp in the Sunderland/Newcastle/Gateshead area?

I'm doing the chassis and suspension on my Cerb, got the back finished but still the front to do and I'm getting sick of lying on a cold hard driveway.

A ramp would make things so much easier.

Was thinking about joining North East Restoration club

http://www.n-e-r-c.co.uk/

Membership £30 pa and have a ramp you can book for specified periods

Haven't done anything about it as yet though

cheers

Went to look around yesterday, membership is working it's way through the system as we speak.

BTW dodgepot - that Cerbera up at HHC has been sold.

Anyone know of any other places?

I've used Spanner It in Darlo before, but it's my understanding they are no longer in business.

I need somewhere with a 4 post ramp (not the drive on type though). Got a rear subframe to change out, and my drive is on a slope so no good for it.

Just contacted rent and ramp to see if they're still there. Anyone have any experience of them?

I'm in Durham so any other places near here e.g. Newcastle, Sunderland, etc.? Can't seem to find much on the internet.

There's a guy just starting up in Washington doing this, he's got a 4 post ramp and a Dyno too. It's called "U service" and based on Crowther Ind Est.
