I used to buy from eBay but they seem to now need documents which I am not happy to post.

So where is a good place in Newcastle upon Tyne to buy and how much are a pair of std oblong plates these days

Your local Halfords or a local Car Accessory shop will make them up while you wait.

If you want to do online then try someone like Fancyplates who will do legal (show) plates without paperwork.

If it's just a pair of standard plates then your local motor factors will be your best bet. Or for something a little fancier, maybe try somewhere like Utopia Plates?

There's plenty of places online that don't require paperwork and are legal with BS mark etc.
