I think the charge and cap on entries was the only way they could get the event on at all, apparently the parish council bods were up for banning it altogether after last years huge attendance and the motor club agreed to step in so it still happened.

Oh well I wont be going as dont have a car old enough, clearly wanting to restrict it to the typical type of clients that Elwick has always liked.

The info for the show this year mentions trouble at last years show. I was there - I didnt see any trouble. Yes there was the odd car giving it a bit of beans on the way out, which might not have been a good idea due to numbers milling about, but other than that, what was the issue, or was that it?

My car doesnt qualify as its too young - its 'only' 11 years old....

All I saw last year was some twonk with a Corvet trying to dig the green up.

I refuse to pay for any show unless its for charity and even then it has to be a good show, and restricting the numbers won't make it a good show.

I've just found out Elwick Car and Bike Show is definitely on Monday but there's little information so I've made an event for it. Be good to see some PH cars there
