The lady wants to go away next weekend. She's suggested a Spa/Hotel. Any good suggestions in south Wales or the south west of England?

St David's in Cardiff, Celtic Manor Newport? I have no experience of either but their pretty popular so relatively safe bets I'd hope.

Short notice could be an issue?

Mrs Alsa loves the Vale Resort. Can't recommend from my own experience though as I've never been smile

Have a look at Lucknam Park near Bath. It's an outstanding place (not cheap though...).

I'd play dumb and take her to Belgium to this Spa for a track-day, and explain that is what you thought she meant laugh

Been to both the Celtic manor and the vale recently.
Very impressed with the manor but was really disappointed with the vale, seemed as though it needed a refresh and neither the steam room or sauna were working and no one seemed bothered.

Booked.

Showed her the place before looking at the price. She basically said let's do it..... It's going to be one expensive weekend lol.

Bath spa. Do deals occasionally and nice to get out of wales for that extra special feeling.

Haven't been yet.

I've told her that the only room available was on a ground floor facing the car park. Lol I love teasing her!

Enjoyed it all.... Food was a tad overpriced.

We ended up eating at the Mulberry.

Thanks again.
