Shelsley breakfast club meet and Midlands breakfast meet is a viable alternative.

If you click on the link, it says £10 for pre-booking a weekend parking space - a "fiver" is ok, though I'd say £10 might put some off unless there's a 50% refund on buying a meal. I hope they succeed in their venture though when l get around to visiting, I'll try a sunny week day to ensure I can park onsite. The popularity of C&M just shows what a shortage of such places to meet in the wider Midlands area currently.
I think the £10 pre booing is a great idea. As far as I am aware you cannot book a table, s9 if you are going to travel a distance, as I would have to do, knowing you can park when you get there is a very good thing.

Tried it last weekend for the 'Heavy Duty' event - was 2 hours away so paid the £10. Had a distinctly mediocre bacon roll (cheapish though) and coffee (included in the £10). Maybe it was the crappy weather but it felt a little flat to me. Fair mix of cars, until the bean-canners turned up... staff were lovely, but the inside felt undercooked to us. The bar is nice, but the rest is a bit underwhelming. I get the idea and great that someone's running with it but think it could be better. Games room is a waste of space.

Local to me. A fantastic, family event in a lovely location, ruined by weed-smoking, sweatpants-wearing morons.
It was a great event. Thankfully the landlord of the Carrington Arms is a motorcycle enthusiast so the local TOMCC branch still meets there.

Beckett’s Farm was another one - cracking event that always attracted a wide cross section of cars. Then the tts started turning up.... and then more of them...... and then the full bore assaults down the dual track and racing.

What happened today? Fire engines and cordons blocking the entrance? Not someone's car I hope?

I saw a video on YouTube interviewing the founder of Caffine & Machine. I didn’t realise it had been set up by one of us! A guy called Phil, I forget his surname, but he has been on here wit( his green XJ220. I also spoke to him for some extra at Rockingham Cars & Coffee last year about the Jag.

Best of luck Phil if you read this.

If it was an event why they didn't let people in? I just assumed there was a problem that they were dealing with.

I don't often make it to club nights, but if you want a natter with some old farts about older motorcycles they're there the 1 and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
