Air-Con not blowing cold

Hi,
I have recently purchased a Suzuki swift 1.3 3dr GL (2009) and have found that upon turning the climate control to cold i still get no cold air.
thinking this was just a re-gassing issue I tried searching for my filler valve to see about having it filled back up however.
i could not find this and with a little digging found that most cars with my type of climate control have an "A/C" button. I seem to only have a air recycle and rear window defrost. the other two buttons on the bottom half are blank?
is there a such thing as automatic AC or am i just out of luck and my car does not have a compressor for cold air?
