I’ve never ever seen that car out and about!
I first saw it parked in the drive of a fairly ordinary house in Lowdham about five years ago (not where the owner lives) I did a double take but they are fairly unmistakable from the rear. I saw it a couple of other times shortly after whilst house-hunting in that neck of the woods and thinking back, we came very close to offering on a house at the bottom of the road where he still lives 30 years later.

I found the video really interesting as some of my family knew/know the owner fairly well and for many years I lived half a mile down the road from Brookfields, the garden centre he used to own, I never realised he was such a petrol head. The CSL's piqued my interest as I believe Frank Sytner lived fairly close by too, during the 90's, when I lived on Mapperley Plains, I used to see him driving past on a regular occasion whilst waiting at the bus stop, at that time he used to have the SY7NER (?) reg on his cars that you now tend to see on a lot of their Alpina advertising.

The number plate is S17 NER and was procured long after Frank Sytner sold the business.

He always had the plate FS 1.

Hmm, I know it was a long time ago but I am positive there was blue or purplish 8 series of some kind wearing a plate along those lines, I used to see it weekly, it would have been 96-98'ish, something like that really stuck out, you forget these days how common place 'nice' cars have become

Staying on the Ferrari theme nipped out this morning and saw an interesting looking vintage racer in the drizzly gloom, when I got up close I'm pretty sure it was a Ferrari 250 SWB -

That looks like East Leake to me. In which case, high chance of it being the real deal. There's someone who lives in that area with quite a collection of cars.

Yes, East Leake. Is it the same local chap with the fleet of Bugattis?

It's the only person I can think of. I'm sure someone will know better than me.

Spotted a lovely black Testarossa (or possibly 512) on a flatbed near Cannock around midday today, shame I couldn't have heard it too

Earlier today at the Bishopton roundabout on the A46 north of Stratford, a pair of 991 GT3s: a Miami Blue GT3 and an all-black GT3RS.
Sounded great but can't have been much fun in the heavy rain.

Where is that? I'm sure I saw that come past my house one day last week, by the time I got to the end of the drive to have a look it had gone, sounded epic !! (Blythe Bridge area, near to Foxfield steam railway, Stoke on Trent ) Can't be that many, maybe the same one ?

Apols, all I know is it was at a MacD's near Stoke - we were en-route to M1. Apparently a Hellcat (had appropriate number plate)
