Hello everybody,

Mxdi, I'm just across the A45 from you, by the Diamonds ground. Give us a wave if you see the buggy out and about.

Moved up from Suffolk last year for work, once the weather gets brighter (blinking snowing in March!) ought to all meet up for a beer and a blat

Yep off to Le Mans again (19th year running)
How long have you had the Noble?
It's on my list of "must have" cars.

Come on Di where are you???

Its the fear of no-one turning up that worries me
I know a few good driving roads though, maybe if I make a route and post it up and see what interest I get

We're going.

I'm newish to this and didn't know about the regional forums.

We live on the Leics/Northants border but I work in Northants.

We haven't been to any meets yet as the wee beasty has had to go back to the factory.

Is anyone going to the mini back home in April?

I'm not too far outside Northants and if somewhere like Wellingborough was a meeting point it would be only 40mins for me.
Anything arranged for Northants yet?
Is the 'Ock N Dough pub easy and central for a suggestion?

Maybe somewhere over Northampton way nearer the motorway which would increase interest as its easier for others to get to, maybe the Luton lot may come up then too

I don`t want to tread on anyones toes about meets but do any Northants PHers know each other and get together or is the idea to get a big group of cars trailing round the county. for my part i don`t need to meet at a pub just a spin out to a MacD. coffee in the car park ,bit of a chin wag and home.
Sorry if I am off the point.
Mark I am about 20 mins from you ,glad to meet this way or yours if you Want [the dough is 10 mins for me]
Regards to all.

I missed the main Midlands meet but would go to any 'spin-off' (no pun intended) local meet just to say hello. Multi-region! I'm off to Billing next weekend for the American Car show but can do any time.
MacD fine as no alcohol/driving involved but a nice big pub with food etc is OK. A pub near to me at Morcott has theme evenings for a variety of enthusiast meetings but perhaps not convenient for Northants.
I'll try to turn up if anything gets organised, failing that next time I go to the Dough I'll email.

Meets vary from place to place, most will do a run for an hour or so and then a drink at a pub, others will just do cafe and run, some just meet at the pub without a run.
Theres a Leighton Buzzard meet most months, theres about 20 odd people who go to that and yes they mostly know each other but we always have a couple of newcomers, you dont always see the same lot every time.
I've never been to a Midlands/Northants meet I am not sure if there has been any before or not so it'll mainly be people who have not met before.
From my experience of PH meets everyone is very friendly and welcoming no matter what your car/background.
