Yes first meet is Thursday 13th April.

All meets following that will be second Thursday of every month right he way through to October.

Turnout has increased ten fold over last two years so please be patient and careful when parking up and leaving the venue

Seemed like chaos at the first meeting of 2017.

What's the plan?

I think it should have stayed on PH only. As soon as it became a "facebook" event it started to get too busy, now its overcrowded with nob heads wheel spinning up the road.

Not saying all on FB are nob heads, just most. wink

I hope it doesn't move. The pub owners have been pretty accommodating, obviously they get business but it also gives them a problem with some of their regulars (a mate of mine lives really close and they're generally all supportive so long as it stays on the right side of reasonable). The overflow parking can be dealt with a bit by using the road that runs behind the pub rather than suicide parking on the main road on a dodgy bend, although not ideal.

Maybe the numbers will drop off a bit.

Me too.

I live 10 mins up the road and have been popping in there for a pint since the late 80's. It would be a shame to move.

Hopefully the decision to stop public sharing will control numbers..

Hey locals, long time no speak. I've been away from the scene for too long. I don't have a car with tyres worth kicking anymore but keen to meet up with like minded petrolheads. What's going on in the Worcestershire / Shropshire area?

Hi folks, new to this forum and noticed it is 2nd Thursday, so thinking I may have a run out as the weather forecast is ok, is it still in the same place or did the venue change? Martyn

I'd be interested in a meet sometime, somewhere. Start a new thread and see who's up for it. I'm 35 miles from Cosford so would be a nice run out.

Sounds good, not been to cosford for a meet in a long time, I am also about 35 miles north of there, so the wharf is on my doorstep as it were

Despite calling themselves a PH group its now become a private FB group only, so nothing to do with PH anymore.

So only open to those willing to be rear ended by zuckerberg.

So much for a PH car meet..

I have received your rather rude and abrupt email which is in my view uncalled for. You clearly don’t understand how the world has moved on and how Facebook and other social media channels have taken a lead over traditional forums . The group is private and we ask questions of those who want to join to prevent unsociable behaviour at our meets.

I set up the first Ph staffs and Shrops meet with some fellow PHers and the meets have gone from strength to strength. PH was a forum for enthusiasts run by enthusiasts , this was long before Haymarket too over.
If you would like to rephrase your email and perhaps come along to one of the meets then maybe we could have a shandy and you can air your concerns. Thanks for reaching out .

Hi Torque. Do the meets still go on?

Are they a Facebook thing now?

Cheers. Chris.
