Where's abouts are you, I only ask as I'm going to meet up with another lad at the layby just after the M5 on the A417 so you could meet us there or if you are in Gloucester I'll meet you somewhere in Gloucester and we can convoy up to the A417

Awesome, sounds like a plan's coming together. What about that layby just off the M4 junction on the A46? I presume we'll be going up that way but, like a man in orthopaedic shoes, am happy to stand corrected.

J18 M4 A46 laybay - We'd be up for meeting there. What time?

J18 also on the way for me. Think it will be a good turnout this week so probably best to be away from J18 by 8.30 or just after if you want a parking space in the main car park!

May be too many for the North side layby already?

10-4 Grover.

The Cross Hands Car Park @ 8.30? We could then go the "long way" via the hairpins at Nailsworth, Minchinhamptpon, Aston Down & Cirencester and still be there before 9.30

Should have read the posts more thoroughly - 8.30 at J18 then?

8.30 sounds like a good shout, as Grover says the layby isn't terribly large, so the Cross Hands is probably a good idea...

There's a public car park south of the junction... although I suppose it may be full of ramblers' cars on a Sunday morning.

I wasn't going to mention that for fear of appearing too knowledgeable. smile

Probably not in the morning, though.
