Cheers for the recognition Rob, seems like so long ago. So long ago in fact I no longer have the Phoenix! Glad you enjoyed the ride though.

Keep your eyes open for a monthly meet up in the real South West (i.e. not Bristol!). Next one is here. The November meet is likely to be further West, maybe Smokey Joes or Newquay.

If anyone has any suggestions for a location, let LancerG know.

Hi Pete, Oh no, that Phoenix was mental !

I have not had the Green Ascona on the road this year, wet/small baby/work/no time so have been trundling about in the family shopping chariot Golf. I miss driving something interesting.

I would be up for a proper SW meet, Smokey joes is a good shout, we did the NOrway inn last time too which was decent.

See you in November hopefully.

Paul.

(Rob is "DevoutGooner" on here, he came too but I dont recall what in, may have been the Sebring.)

Got back down here last night. Feels more like home every time. If anyone fancies a little meet one night just post up, I'm free every night at the moment.

Hi!

Unfortunately I am in Bath during Uni term time now, but come from Penryn, So I'm around some of the time. You may have spotted the yellowy green Arosa around in the area up until last week.

I live just outside of Penryn but grew up in Falmouth, I own a tyre/exhaust business with depots in Penryn and redruth should you ever need anything for the vectra!
Welcome to Cornwall by the way!
I forgot there was a PH link there... I dropped in with my old man for two new tyres on his Octavia vRS last week (Being awkward trying to find Michelin Pilot Sports wink ).

Is he still ok with his current tyres? I'm having trouble getting them in but am expecting them this week!

I can see his workshop from mine, I am on the industrial estate and he is on the road that runs beside the estate.

Little one is fine, bright eyed and full of fun, sleeps right through now, so good that we are thinking about another.... one day.

A meet would be great, a nice sunday run out around Falmouth would be good, the Pub needs to have a decent carpark and do a good carvery ! The Norway is good but gets very busy if you arrive too late.

How about the Lamb and Flag at St Erth? Big carpark, not sure what the food's like though.

It's still ongoing, taking longer than I would have hoped, in the last year we have expanded the business and had another baby so things have been manic! The engine is in and running, just a couple of electrical bits to tidy up then she will be ready to MOT and put on the road!

The rep from Michelin has collected the tyres for me today and I am meeting him on Monday morning so I will ring your dad when they are in and ready to fit
