Renault Specialist Glastonbury area

PX'd my Fabia VRS for a Clio 182 and its coming up for its aux belt change interval and a service, anyone know of a specialist in the area? (not trying to pay dealer prices haha)

Ahh always heard great things about him but Josh Cook did the belts etc on my 182 so never used his services myself!

I had my cambelt/dephaser done by Dan lst month.

I only went there as everyone on cliosport/pistonheads recommended him and he was good, lots of cars there had travelled some serious miles to have work done so he must be doing something right.

Thanks guys! Yeah after looking through the SW section of cliosport I cam across people recommending him. I am taking it in after I get back in town to get a 36k miles service/aux belt change. I need to do the cambelt at the end of the year due to time not mileage. Best thing is that his shop is not far at all from my house.

I really want to be driving my 182 right now! I bought it down by Torquay, drove it home and left the next morning. I am making my wife drive it every couple days haha.

They are great cars, very enjoyable to drive and are so cheap for what you get in my opinion. Loved both of mine!

Dan did my belts last year after being recommended on cliosport. Be careful though, the last specialist they recommended on there turned out to be not so good & is no longer trading.

Dan seemed to get positive reviews from everywhere I looked, so lets hope my experience is the same!

Don't expect spotless main dealer facilities , it quite often looks like he's been burgled.

However he seem's to know where everything is.

He's still in the same place but not purely doing renault sports now .

There's also mendip auto's nearby and this guy seems to of taken over from Dan.

Right, i went over to Jay today and he is spot on! Great heads up so massive thanks for the recommendation. Got the work done there and then!

After the recommendations here I got in contact with Jay at Mendip Autos. Can't fault him, sorted out both my cars.
Will definitely be my goto garage from now on.
