We had a successful breakfast club at the AV8 Cafe for a couple of years. Any one up for doing the same again at the Weighbridge inn. They have a large car park and are up for breakfast meets, bacon sandwiches and tea !!! Could be a good run out on a Sunday morning

Sounds good, the AV8 meets were on occasion great, its a shame that it all fizzled out.

The AV8 breakfast meet was successful but the cafe never made us that welcome. The Land lady at the Weighbridge has said that we can have the pub car park, which is quite big on a Saturday or Sunday morning up until about 11. They will do tea coffe and breakfast !
What do people think ?

Sounds like a good plan to me.

Would this be the last Sunday of the month as AV8 used to be?

The last Sunday of the month sounds spot on to me. I will speak to the Weighbridge. Shall we say 8:30 till 10:30 on the 24th of April ?

Sunday 24th April is Drive it day...... should be a lot of older cars on the road that day.
Horton Historic Vehicle Club run will be through Nailsworth, not past the Weighbridge but along the A46 then up Spring Hill. Probably passing through about 12 noon

I have had a chat with the Weighbridge Sunday 24th is good with them 8:30 till 10:30, they will do tea and coffee and if enough people come breakfast as well.

Let's stick with the last Sunday of the month so that it becomes a regular date

It's also Wheelnuts show at St Roses School in Stroud but could be up for future meets. Maybe a summer evening meet if they're agreeable.

I was thinking Wheelnuts generally clashes with Drive It day then saw a poster today in Stroud.
Summer evening`s a good idea.

Ok it is all sorted with the Weighbridge for next Sunday at 8:30. As I am not sure how many people will show they said they will do tea/coffe and bacon sandwiches for those who want it.

If we stick to the last Sunday of the month hopefully it will grow. We all like a natter over breakfast about petrol head type things. They are also ok with a summers evening

I will pull a Facebook page together as well

Let's hope the weather is good
