Considering displaying mine on the day, would have tracked it but they're only selling track passes for the whole day for £225 - counts me out as I'd only want to do a couple of laps tops.

Are there any passenger rides and how much ? as i can't afford to put my car out on track
Also do we know yet how many cars are out on track

Hopefully it stays dry and warm for what should be a good day

I am thinking of going but the noise limit is still 100db (and last time at combe they were doing it half a meter from the tips not a meter)

Personally I'd be surprised if the supercars that do go pass the sound tests.

I expect they will do a few parade laps but I'm not sure what to really expect from this day...

A few of us from kitnet.uk are considering going but when I spoke to Combe last week they could not define what they call a supercar or where cars would be parked.

We are atm undecided on our attendance.

Tbh if you pop along to Combe almost any weekday there is an event on, many are track days and lots of drivers are quite happy to give passenger lifts, you just have to ask nicely.

I know on our own kitnet track days we nearly all take passengers round at some point in the day. tqadam attended one last year and although I lost him somewhere during the day I think he and/or his mate managed to get round with one of our guys, is that right Adam??

The name has changed from supercar to summer !!!

I assume the volume of supercars was low

I should be taking the Vantage along for the paddock display, if I get the website / paypal to accept payment. Technical issues at the moment by the look of it.

Correct F1Asbo!

I didn't go out but my friend did and enjoyed it.

I actually don't have the mini any more. I'm now rocking a 206 gti yes a 90hp step back lol. I'm a set of brakes away from braving it and going on track lol.

The original link doesn't work because it's now summer car solstice. As predicted the volume of supercars must be low. I am unsure if I will be venturing up but the circuit did confirm its £5 to get in and be parked up away from displays smile

I'm not sure that the big comfy leather seats are optimal? Lol.

I am still undecided on going to this event.
I wish they would publish a list of what's on track frown

Whatever buys a pass - I don't think there is any racing going on, just a track day.

I know it's not racing but I like to know as it's at least 2 hours for me to get there.

I don't think there's any sort of list circulating as to what kind of stuff will be on-track. I glimpsed one of the traders attendance lists that had some of the local dealerships bringing some cars along (Bristol Porsche Centre, Aston Martin Bristol etc).

I'll be taking the Vantage along for the paddock display; no idea what to expect really - could be a sea of exotica, or resemble a Halfords car park on a Saturday night, we'll see.

Adam - have you tried ringing the track and asking if they can give you a quick verbal list of the cars will be there?

I hadn't as they were pretty cagey on FB about it and renamed the event.

As it happens I was up at 5am this morning..messaged the track and fair play they replied before 7 I think it was but I was told I couldn't pay on the gate. So I never went.

From what I've seen on fb, it looked quiet and seen a comment the place was a ghost town by 2pm.

Very little on the track, certainly no supercars in the couple of hours we were up there. Some nice stuff in the paddock but then I'm more interested in Sierra Cosworths and 205GTis than supercars really.

I enjoyed it but it was really quiet. From what I could see the session timing was really relaxed with very few cars.

No supercars on track, but lots of track prepared. cars.

Shame it was so quiet, it has all the ingredients for a fantastic meet.

Usual standard of driving by those leaving the venue and on the surrounding roads.
