Usual standard of driving by those leaving the venue and on the surrounding roads.
I followed some absolute helmet in a Civic Type R out of the gate. Not sure what banging the rev limited for 10 seconds then burning the clutch in a slow pull away achieved, but the 9 year olds stood by the exit seemed impressed. Presumably the driver was also 9. Or had an IQ of 9. Or both. The purple Wedge was having fun on track. Didn't see the bike engine Mini pickup on track personally but imagine it was fun.

Must have left the same time as me, I was directly behind him. Could smell the clutch forThe purple Wedge was having fun on track. Didn't see the bike engine Mini pickup on track personally but imagine it was fun.
a good half a mile down the road. Looked to be in a convoy with a M5 and a diesel Merc. Speeds were also a little high through the 30 limits for my liking.
Saw the mini spin coming out of quarry, didn't sound bike engined but certainly went like it. There were a few guys going really well. In particular the BMW compact and 205 were being pedalled well. Agree with you on the noise limits, I don't think my 911 would get through.
It was a better day out than expected; as noted above there wasn't much in the way of exotic on track action, but the chaps in the Beemer compact and the 205 GTI were worth the price of admission. Driver of the day award would go to the BMW, he was certainly trying.
There was a small but diverse range of stuff in the paddock, hadn't expected to see a P1 turn up, along with some GT8's. The highlight for us would be being part of the track parade, courtesy of AM Bristol who let us tag along as passengers in the DB11 - very impressive bit of kit that has some go, even 4-up.
Just as we were leaving, some spectators were having a mooch at the cars in the area of the paddock we'd parked in (many had already left and that was around 2pm). A few raps of the throttle were greeted with the kids smiling and having dropped jaws. They might be pestering their dad to go Aston shopping now

I got told off a lot.... (205gti)
Seems the marshals were a bit bored with only 5 cars on track so they decided to have a go at the slightest bit of track limits (barely touching the curb) at the exit of quarry...
no diff in the 205 so was battling understeer and being pushed wide...
ended the day with a seized engine, but I wasn't driving it at that point so all good! haha
