Propshaft repairs near Exeter?

The chap next door has a Honda 4x4. Hard as this is to believe, it is broken.
There is a vibration which he's narrowed down to the propshaft to the rear wheels (by removing it and having a nosy) - apparently a not uncommon problem. He's heard of someone in Bristol who can repair the UJ, but wondered if anyone knew of anything in Devon?
Quite why he can't just run it in 2WD I'm not sure
