Tunnel Runs/Meets

Morning all,

Does anyone know of any tunnel runs/meets that are set up or happen regularly in the southwest?

Failing that, does anyone know of any good routes?

Same here, Swindon. There are many fantastic routes into the Cotswolds, most of the routes I use in the car come from ride outs on my motorbike.

Cotswolds is a great shout, any specific roads to incorporate?

A drive out to the AV8 café at Cotswolds airport at Kemble is a great start/finish place for a drive out.

Yes, it was the most recent one I could find using the search function. I felt sure a run was done this year but now I suspect it's just me being in a time warp! Best thing to do is message Sandy (MudSkipper) and see if anymore are planned. I'd like to do it but so far have missed every one due to either weather or the car playing up!

I will bump that thread back to the top of the list in a min so keep an eye on it for any future plans.

I've been slack in arranging anything so far this year...but then I have no idea where most of the year has gone already!

It would be good to get something in the diary for this year. Part of the problem with the TRs is all the 20mph limits, speed cameras & road closures all over Bristol now. Maybe what's needed is a bit of a run out somewhere with some tunnels included.
I'll put the thinking brain into gear and see if we can come up with something. Am open to suggestions too

I'm in Chippenham if you know it, no tunnels that I know of around here except the tiny ones under railways!

Hi Ross, I keep meaning to head to your meets but never seem to be free 🤣 would you be up for potentially doing a tunnel run after a meet one day?

Head out on the B4039 as if going to Castle Combe race track and turn left by the Salutation Inn and head towards Grittleton and you go under the M4, nice tunnel used by Top Gear and Fifth Gear a lot.
