Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good bodyshop in Dorset?

The lacquer/paint has started to come away in the roof gutters and I need to get it sorted before the rust gets going.

Thanks!

Depends where you are in Dorset, but Tomas at TCS Bodyworks repainted my TVR and made a lovely job of it.

Just over the border in Honiton.

My dad's neighbour has just had a respray done on his car at a place in Honition - presumably the same company - and was very happy.

Any idea if they do fibreglassing? My Chimaera has a a crack in its bonnet that needs attention. If and when I ever get it back from the place doing the mechanical work...

BBP at Sturminster Newton. It's a one man band but can't recommend Darren highly enough...

Thanks for the suggestions - ideally I'm looking in the Weymouth / Dorchester / Poole area but am happy to travel for someone with a good reputation.

TCS Bodyworks is probably a bit too far away unfortunately but BBP at Sturminster Newton looks good smile

I've yet to use them for bodywork, but just dropped my daily driver off at Hibbard Automotive in Thorncombe for a service. The owner is a proper petrolhead who competes in various forms of motorsport and it's a big old place - far more 'serious' than you might expect from a sleepy little village. They do have a bodywork guy there, so might be worth enquiring.
