Interesting topic - The guy which runs the show now for QS is a complete and utter tool. I have friends who work at the dealerships that Dan Grazier (QS owner) 'pops' into constantly. He expects god-like treatment, will eat all of the biscuits (reserved for buying customers), acts like a child, then demands a "test drive". For some reason having a FB page now entitles the page owner to the same rights as a fully fledged motoring journalist.... Not..

Unfortunately and I don't blame Dan for trying, he now has a reputation at the dealers in Bristol, Swindon etc. The staff at dealerships know who he is and his attitude is his downfall. All I hope for is he continues to argue with his FB members, as it is truly cringe-worthy and hilarious at the same time.

Oh, and his write-ups are bloody awful!!!! They are just the ramblings of a muppet.
I'd always wondered who ran it now as the posts still pop up regularly on my timeline, although I've not been to a meet in a long time.

I assumed Dan was early 20s as his writing is dreadful and he seems very pleased with himself, smug and bragging. Surprised to see he's more mid 40s.

In fairness to him he was totally committed to taking over the meet and it's paid off for him in the long run as he gets all sorts of opportunities and drives lots of nice cars now. It surprises me but presumably the dealers feel it is worth it.

So it seems the meet is the last Sunday of the month, can anyone confirm this is happening?

Is that the breakfast club one or the smaller one ? Might pop down if it isn't raining too hard.

I think you need to pre book a space though rather than just turn up on the day?

We could all just turn up at Queen Sq, just like the old days before the nutters arrived.

Yep - I'd be up for that, esp as they want 7 quid per car for the ampitheatre meet on sunday.

I followed you in towards QS a couple of times in the old days. Back when we could go into town over Prince Street bridge ! Looks like 30% chance of rain on Sunday morning. Might cruise / rattle down in the Landie if it's fine.

Hope the weather stays dry for you.

Bit wet down there this morning. I got there at 08.30, got a bacon roll and a coffee, walked the dog round a bit, sat in the car looking at the rain for a bit and then came home. Roll on the summer !

The weather couldn’t decide! I went to Lloyds for about 8:30 too.. parked up at the buttery and walked over.
A decent mix of cars as usual, including a white 964 turbo with PH sticker!
