Anyone going this weekend?
I wasn’t able to make it last year, but it looked pretty good.

Yeah, I missed it last year but hope to go this year. Not sure if Saturday or Sunday yet. These are great roads when the holidaymakers have buggered off and there isn't some kind of VW surf bus in the way.

Agreed! I think it’s a shame they haven’t got a longer course, but on the other hand it’s great to see something like this happening at all

They have extended the course around the corner at the top of the hill this year. That should make veiwing the cars easier than last year.

Yup I will be there all weekend. A good freind is running his car up. Been a bit temperamental, so I hope all goes smoothly.

Went last year and enjoyed it. Will be heading across this weekend, probably on the Sunday.

Went Saturday, really enjoyed it. Cracking weather, amazing backdrop and great mix of cars. Hope this is a regular annual fixture. Well done to all involved.

Realy good event. Plenty of crashes up at the top chicane too.

We went for a look on Sunday, was very impressed with it all. I heard the announcer say it took 6 years to plan, and is still the only event to take advantage of the laws introduced to allow for road closures for such events. Hopefully it will continue to grow

It’s confirmed for 2020 and the course should be further extended.

A sprint along the sea front is also planned for March 2020 in sandown, Isle of Wight.

Did anyone have a look at our Megane Trophy that was parked up there?

I seem to remember seeing one going up the course, and walked the entire pits during the lunch break but don’t remember specifically looking at it
