Hi. Not sure if anyone can help. I have a 1963 Thunderbird. I will be needing work doing to it over the winter (quite extensive, plus paintwork) and wondered if anyone knew of a place around Bristol that knows about these cars.
Thanks for any help

Only one I can think of is Avon County Road & Race in Frampton Cotterell

I’m not directly related to any of the below, however they’d be my starting points if I were asking the questions you are!

There was also a guy in Barr’s court I spoke to a few time when I lived out that way that’d be perfect for advice. Outside working on classic yank stuff every weekend without fail. I don’t have a name/number but could PM an address if you’re anywhere near that way.

Try R.S autos near Warmley, Bristol. They have amazing American cars whenever I go there, last time I was there they had a Bel Air in bare metal, a few V8s being prepped, a E type Jag race car but seem to advertise as a Mercedes CDI specialist. They were recommended to me by some guys my brother works with who import 50s-60s American cars needing MOTs/Restorations/engine builds

Spoke to this guy a few times when I was looking at a 1963 MGB which needed lots of work, I don’t buy it but he was quite helpful
