Would be great to see something in Cornwall. I had a 996 about 12 years ago and I’ve had dull cars since. I’ve just got something brisk again to enjoy our roads. There are a bunch of clubs around so would be good to pull together some active members. There is a Cornwall Sportscar Club that has a nice mix toys. You’ll find them on Facebook, meet in Redruth on 2nd Sunday.

Great if there’s some chance to meet up, and that road to St Mawes can be a treat.

I checked out Bear Cornwall today. Sun and dry roads. Good spot with nice coffee and cake. Cheap there mentioned a classic car week that happens in St Mawes. And apparently there a regular group of Porsche drivers that do a regular Sunday dash over from Wadebridge. Simon

Do you have any details on the Porsche run on the Sunday? Can’t find anything online but will ask at Bear next time I’m there.

Afraid not. Although I think the Porsche Club might be going to the Aerobatic event at Cardinham on 2nd April.

Another possible venue I popped into over the long weekend that might be good for this sort of thing, The Old Garage Cafe near Ruan Highlanes on the Roseland. Sam's burger thing (was at same location) has gone now.
Limited parking right out front of the cafe, but a much bigger gravel carpark to the side of all the buildings. I should imagine it isn't overly busy on a Sunday morning if last weekend was anything to go by - certainly compared to St Mawes.

Cheers Wayoutwest. That is a remote spot down there. I’m mid Cornwall and that’s still a long way. Is there a desire fora more general enthusiast meet and location? Wondering if there is demand to put a bit more effort into identifying a more central opportunity..if there is a bit of a care we could work something out. Maybe something like last Sunday in the month. Boogie springs to mind with a big car park with a view. There are probably a few good spots closer to the A30 as a spine that all can get to.

Hi there, An old thread I know. But I’m keen to do Porsche related stuff and am based in Wadebridge. Thinking about heading for Porsche Club GB event in a few days and collar some locals. There is a Boxster in my hamlet. He’s keen as well. Guy (1991 928 GT)

PS I know there are 2-3 928 owners around the Truro area.

I’ve been thinking about heading up to the meet that happens every so often at Tre, Pol & Pen near Launceston. Have been to the Williams Crawford cars and coffee before too. Porsche Club GB events all happen way too far up to fight past the Summer traffic though. Helston -based, 968.

I’d recommend the Tre Pol Pen meet. Good meet with a variety of cars. 👌🏼

I don’t think the next meet has been set yet. I think there is a bit of a lull due to other commitments. I’m looking for what else might be on.

I already posted the other thread, but there is the Carfeine CFWK cars and coffee at St ives brewery in Hayle on today at 11 ( and presumably this sort of time every month)

I have come across it before but never been.
