Meets or Events in Weston super Mare?

I will be working in Weston from time to time and I’ve heard there are sometimes meets on the seafront but not been able to confirm. Anyone know if there are any regular events or how I can find out please?

Meet tomorrow 1800 onwards at Redhill village hall also BBQ.

Thurs evening are bike night. If you're into motorcycles. I've been a few times.

Last Tuesday of the month on the seafront up by Tropicana is a car meet all sorts turn up and normally a good turn out especially now nights are lighter and weather better.

On a related note, the Gilbern Owner's Club National Day is in Weston on 3rd July.

I'm planning to take my GT and it is likely that I will need to bring it by trailer. There is no room for trailer parking at the venue, Grand Hotel, as a consequence I need somewhere suitable to park. It looks like the best option is the Locking Road car park which seems to have big bays for trucks/coaches, I'm also thinking that as it caters for coaches it is likely to have coach drivers staying with their vehicles which might offer a degree of security for a trailer hitched to a car.

I would appreciate some local knowledge/feedback as to if this car park would be suitable or if there would be any better options.

I cant think of a better or closer spot than the one you have mentioned (opposite Tesco). As for it being secure, it is a very open coach park, there may be CCTV and a lot of the coaches are school run ones so probably most of the drivers are local. You could have a look at the local side streets but being next to the sea front they are always busy.
