Classics in Queen Square
Discussion
It happened! I was there for about 9.30 & there were a few cars but....as the Avenue cafe has changed ownership the coffees are now served from a coffee shop on welsh back. Thats where everyone hung out, I left after half hour as I had to get back & put up some poxy Christmas lights around the house
There are meets every month through the winter but you may only get a few cars, it depends on the weather.

Just a quick heads up folks. The Avenue Drivers Club will meet again on Sunday from 9am at Queen Square if anyone fancies coming along for a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
The forecast is okay and hopefully with no salt down on the roads for a while now we should have a better turn out.
Hope to see you there.

Hmmm. I used to get emails from ADC prior to meets - not had one in a while.
I did get an email from ADC t'other day - it was about Bristol and Bath Classic Car Run though.
When I finished doing the emails Tony took over but I know he has a lot of work commitments at the moment so may not have had chance to do it. We're aiming to let the club grow naturally by word of mouth and so people know that whatever is happening there will always be people there on the second Sunday of every month come rain or shine.I did get an email from ADC t'other day - it was about Bristol and Bath Classic Car Run though.
Evangelion -
When we first started it we used the Avenue Cafe as the base but since then its been taken over by new owners and they won't open until 10am so we still park in Queen Sq but use Che's cafe on the Welshback which is open in time and do great breakfasts.
