Nope!

I've got a family meal at Tavistock Golf Club but I will be down at the Windy Ridge this Sunday.

Mike, go to the main Marsh Mills roundabout under the A38. On that roundabout there is a Sainsburys (the one with the funny fins across the front!), pull into the supermarket car park which will be to the left as you go in the entrance, I will be there from just after 9am. From there we will leave at 09.30 for the Windy Ridge Cafe at Trerulefoot.
Do you know the round about?

Not wanting to put a dampener on it (pun), but this is the forecast for Sunday:

Met Office said:
A band of persistent rain is expected over the region for the bulk of Sunday. It will gradually become drier through the evening and into the night, though remaining cloudy. Average Rainfall 10 mm.

Better get the old waterproofs out!

Seeing this forum is dedicated to the South West, wouldn't it be a good idea for another meet a bit futher down to cater for the members that Brizzul is still a three hour drive away, perhaps on the Devon & Cornwall border?

Great idea Corin, why dont you join the Devon/Cornwall tvrcc runs, who meet near Plymouth most weekends? Guy's who regularly turn up always ask why you dont attend, considering you live in Plymouth and always contribute to this forum.zz

ZZ, I too was minding my own business in Asda Falmouth one day (in the Tiv) and too received a small minded note on my screen from a D+cc member. Left a bad taste in my mouth. All I did was air my opinion on PH one day, and I stress it was just my opinion of what I had overheard at Peninsula's open day. I just thought what a load of and to be honest it just reinforced my view. I'm sure you're not all like that and having met WYATT think he's an okay chap. But still.......

I don't want this thread to develop into a slanging match though, life's too short

ZZ, does this happen to everyone that speaks out about TVRCC?
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, some however try to influence others. In your case,i heard you tried to influence change to an established car club whose members felt proud of what they had achieved. Now i dont blame anybody who wants change, as things need to evolve but their is a correct way of going about it.Ideas should be openly debated and policy agreed. All that happened was fragmentation and ill feeling, which was not the desired result. The person who wrote you THAT note was NOT even a member of D&Ctvrcc. As Just Trouble said, It's history, and forgotten, and it will be great to see you and your friends back at the Regional tvr meets.zz

I'm not going down that road again, I have neither the time, the desire or the inclination. I stand by every word I said about the club at the time and that's all.

Nuff said.

I cannot really comment on this episode as I was not on the scene until it had all gone quiet. Also don't want to stir it all up again. I would like to say though, come on guys we all have a love of owning, driving and chatting about TVR's, so let's continue to do so and keep the club going strong. The social aspect is a part of what convinced me to buy one in the first place. Time to forget past differences and move on!

Pete, we all want bygones to be bygones, and unless it's totally crap weather I'll be there, with the beast and my neighbour's boy who thinks all Tiv's are totally bling(?)- but then he's only 8 or so!

One person who's small mindedness will never be a factor and I'm sure Corin will agree.

Have you sorted that V8s out yet?

Just want all us Tiv fans to get along!

The V8S is fine. It needs a little fettling I think, but hope to get that sorted when it goes for a service soon. Certainly not letting a bit of lumpy idling ruin my enjoyment of driving the car.

Had a great trip to North Devon last weekend. Took the good lady along too and it seems to have been a hit with her too!

The weather could be an issue on Sunday I think. Doesn't look good. Would like to say I'll be there for sure, but as yet not certain.

How's the Cerb hunting going?
