RIB17 in Eastleigh this morning - Aston gone or just plate transfer? BM sounded great!
Sorry I haven't been on here in a long while! Yes the AM went in June. I wasn't getting the time to use the it much anymore so decided to go 'sensible' and get something usable daily rather than running 2 cars.Thought about an M4 but went for a 435i (with lots of options and a few tweaks) instead as seemed far better value for money - goes nearly as well at a fraction of the cost. The noise is from the M Performance Exhaust I had fitted (to tackle the V8 withdrawal symptoms!).
I occasionally miss looking at and hearing the Aston but otherwise I'm enjoying hassle free and (relatively speaking) cheap motoring.
Here's a pic from sunnier times!
Was a bit of a while ago but I think it's still there now, I managed to see the Snakeskin Aventador outside Wrapandtintworx on the Nuffield Industrial Estate in Poole. Probably gone now, but they've normally got something exotic whenever. I've seen Murcielago SVs, Gallardo Superlegerras, F12s, Huracans and I missed a 458 Speciale by about 5 minutes.
Also (perhaps more relevantly) Poole Audi currently have a very nice blue R8 and and one of the new rear-wheel drive ones, and Porsche Bournemouth have a new GT3 RS amongst others. Also the 964 Speedster might still be at Westover Sports Cars, but I don't know about that,

Two interesting spots during the past few days. Firstly, this afternoon, a black Aston Cygnet in Boscombe.
Secondly, and I am now gutted I didn't stop and take a photo as I thought it was a very good fake even though it had a Singer badge, but a Singer Porsche at Tesco in Ferndown of all places. The only reason I thought it wasn't the real deal was it was in Tesco car park and it was parked next to a trolley bay. Brave person to park it there. But just checked online and there was a 'Dorset' one built and the number plates match. I have put a photo of it below that I found online as a Singer Porsche is a thing of beauty.

Tornado Red E plate Ur quattro heading west along the A283 between Washington and Storrington at 0905 this morning. (Sunday 18th March 2018). It wasn't standard either, with (I think) a faux sport bonnet and a high rear spoiler... The engine sounded far from standard as well, I'd say 20vT.
