Sounds perfect, given that I'm retired! laugh
LOL after I wrote it it thought I sounded a bit terse. There is a Honda garage up the road which has a never ending supply of Jazzs

Which you'll forever be stuck behind round here.

We've a new Lidl. The carpark confused some old people and we've had a jazz drive down the steps. Twice.

I haven't been to the new Lidl yet, but I understand that it keeps the riff-raff out of Waitrose.

Actually it's more useful to get an immediate reaction as it's more likely to be what you really think!

No need for a Honda garage yet though thanks - (git) . laugh

I may be getting free prescriptions, but I still have a couple of manual RWD straight 6 petrol BMWs.

Might they be wasted in that part of the world though?

1500 homes planned at new Fawley Waterside & with question marks over further housing in the area commuting could be even more fun. There are indications that there will be some road improvements but don't hold your breath. Don't forget there will be an obligation for a percentage of those house to be 'social'.
Should the dinky Hythe passenger ferry ever close & it's been a near miss despite recent renovations & financial support just imagine how much road traffic that would generate should it cease.
That all said such plans take years to fruition & the area may well prove to have good investment potential - then move to somewhere more rural & away from estates.

some of the bungalows in Hythe area look very nice, the estate as you go into it on the right is always quiet.

Just avoid A326 at times already mentioned

If retired the ferry to S'ton is ideal cheap and no parking issues in town

Calshot/|Leap beaches ideal and near

Can't say there is much to dislike about the area, other than stay out of Black field smile
