Bodyshop in and around Crawley/Haywards Heath/Brighton

Having searched and found some very old threads, I thought it worth asking for some up-to-date advice.

I'm looking to get some paint work and rust repair done on my E46 BMW and wondered if anyone had any recommendations. I've previously used Southdown bodyshop in Burgess Hill who were OK but not flawless, so thought I'd spread the love around next time. It doesn't need to be concourse quality, because it's old, not an M3, a daily driver and lives outside, but I'd like someone who does a decent job without costing a bomb.

Have you used them? I used Balance Motor Works on the same estate (recommended) and was considering using GBG for paint.

You can also try Pilgrim just down the road from the Golding Barn industrial estate.

I'm in the same situation as you right now with an E46...sounds like same location too. Let me know how you get on!

I've seen many, many cars come out out of there. The finish is incredible. Kyle really knows his stuff and they stand by their work.

I spoke to the owner of j developments

He came across as very pragmatic when I explained my requirement of needing a good quality job but not a show car standard. Cost effective repairs where needed.

Has also worked on several e39s.

Will update if I use them.
