Brighton - Recommend me a health spa

Would anyone in the Brighton area be able to recommend a good health spa type place. I am looking as a gift and thought some of your significant others may have some recommendations.

If I am reading between the lines correctly, this is not what I am looking for. I am thinking more a ladies nails/beauty/massage spa place.

Think I'm right in saying Brighton Harbour Hotel is the only one in Brighton itself. We went there in the summer and enjoyed it. Quite small, but has the various facilities - cold pool, warm pool, hot tubs, sauna, steam room, treatments etc and wasn't busy when we went on a Friday morning.

If the gift is a membership then Natural Fit in Hove is right up there.

If its like a spa day or selected treatments then perhaps a few miles out, then Wickwoods Country club.
