Oh, I will probably be there early, anyway, to avoid the traffic from London. If it's rammed, we could meet at Mcdonalds The Seven Stars pub?
Should be fine, they open the field up when it s busy and there s enough for 3-400 cars in there I m sure so we ll never not get a space. Ticket is more to guarantee a space in the main car park (supposedly).

FWIW I ve bought a 5.45pm ticket.
Oh ok, that's fine then - thought I'd have to risk parking on the road or something.

I went last night, first time for me. Good mix of cars I thought, 348 and the Giulia parked next to each other was my favourite.
I’ll certainly go again if there is something good on.

It was a particularly good turnout and mix of cars last night.
I’ll try and wear a PH t-shirt next time so people can actually find our group laugh

Next one will be Thursday 30th July.

Thanks for organising it. Shame the trip there and back was painful (they closed the A3 through Guildford for roadworks on the way back so there was lots of traffic through the retail park area). It didn't indicate this on Gmaps so they must have done it on the way up.

BTW if the aircon in your car doesn't make you feel comfortable like it does in my Golf, then you probably ought to have it looked at. I didn't even want to get out of it just now.

I know what part I need, I need an air con compressor pump. Loads of other cars share the same one as a MK5 Golf - Skoda's etc. I just need to find a good second hand one on eBay. Just need to get round to it

Ah, good luck! It's a nuisance not having a/c in this weather.

I've just done 10 days in the high 30s across Europe. TVR owners not only had no A/C but also basically sit on the engine and gearbox which provides a lovely central heating system inside their cars. How none of them just packed up and went home I have no idea! Nuisance would have been lovely for them. hehe

I remember how hot it can get - felt like heat was coming out of the gear stick surround.

I remember a Loire Valley summer Tour in our Griffith 500 and on a slow trip in Le Mans town centre I had to open and raise the rear of the bonnet to let the excess heat out - luckily I was tall enough to still be able to see over it.
