Thanks Andy! ?? Glad you’re pleased with your new doors.

Simon.

Ah yes those are indeed my doors! They look great and really show up the crappy concrete the drive bodger put in. How annoying.

Hi Doorman (David/Simon), I was wondering if you might be able to help me. Ive been following this thread and others for some time with interest. Im in Reading so not sure if Im a bit too far from from you but Im after a Seceuro Glide Door install. Ive been getting some quotes and I feel they may be too high but cant really be sure. Ive been quoted in excess of £2k for a single door in grey with box and remotes.
Would you be able to quote me? And if too far out let me know if Im being quoted too much?

Would really appreciate your support.

Thanks

We had Simon round recently to look at changing our two up and overs into a single roller with the central pier coming out. What a super guy. He talked us though all our options, had a full set of samples on the van and nothing seemed too much trouble. Got a stare from the missus when the conversation started to drift towards what's in the garage instead of the work in hand, but Simon obviously impressed her as all of a sudden she increased the scope to a new front door as well. Just waiting for their builder to come and review the job and we should be good to go. Sometimes you just have a feeling that a trader is spot on and you're going to get a top class job. We've told Simon we aren't in a rush and can fit in with his workload. Once its completed I'll post a set of before and afters. Then I can start work on the inside.........

Hello John, thanks ever so much for taking the time to put down in text your overall impressions, very kind of you, which just goes to prove my outlook on trading, and that is customers buy people, before they buy your product, something I have held close to my heart for 33 years of being in business, and Simon is proudly upholding.

We have just had a new SeceuroGlide Excel fitted by Prestige Garage Doors and are delighted with the entire process. It was the recommendations on here that prompted me to call and get them to Quote. Simon popped by to measure up in June, he had a massively busy day but kept his appointment with us even though it was after 7pm by the time he got to us, made it a very long day for him but couldn't be nicer! Got chatting about random stuff as you do but what a throughly nice bloke.

We were happy with the quote and the extras so the order was placed, it was an 8-10 week lead time at that point but he managed to get us booked in for fitment much quicker than that as ours was a straightforward fitment, nothing to fix or remove, we just had a brand new garage built. The guys who turned up to fit were brilliant and into their cars as well, one of them purchased a brand new Evo VIII back in the day!

If your wanting a new garage door phone Simon or his dad, you will be pleased you did! Plenty of companies out there could learn something from Prestige Garage Doors!

Simon and crew from Prestige are putting our new garage door in today. Excellent work including nice new lintel over the double size opening. Here’s the before….

Haven't they finished yet?!?! Slackers!! winkbiggrin

I did much the same some 7 years ago in my old place - made the garage so much more useable not having the pillar in the way!

Finished job. Took three days including the demolition of pier and new RSJ. Mrs Rompy also wanted the stretcher brickwork retained. I must say that the quality of the workmanship carried out and the door itself is first class. Can’t recommend these guys highly enough. Something strangely satisfying about remote opening the door. Next job is to update the lighting inside the garage as I use it as a workshop and reloading room.

Hi John,

Thanks for the kind feedback! So pleased you’re happy with the new door. It’s certainly a beast at 5.3m wide! Looks great and will make the garage all the life useable for you both. Was great to meet you.

Simon.

Another recommendation for Prestige doors, they did a great job installing a door on my wonky and bodged garage:

We had our new garage door fitted today by Simon's (doorman) team at Prestige Garage Doors. Really impressed with the whole experience from initial site visit by Simon through to the install by his excellent team of fitters, would join the long list of people recommending Prestige..cheers guys.

Doorman. Shame you don't travel out to deepest Dorset as I am looking for a quote for a new garage door after our extension has been built.

Quick bump for this.

Had Simon come out to "recode" my Bottom Slat Sensor yesterday after it decided to stop talking to the control panel. He came out within 18 hours of contacting him and sorted it in less than 5 minutes, great service and still really pleased with the door and installation PGD did.

If you want a new garage door I'd really recommend these guys.

We had Simon and his team fit our new garage door a couple of weeks ago - great service, super quality and top finish (installation team were excellent) and have already referred our decorator to you Simon :-)

Would fully recommend
