Sounds like I'm missing the biggest non TVRCC organised event of summer, well May, well at least the week!!!

Completed the run in 46.40 today which was not bad, and made it home in time to sell Janice (my S2) to a nice guy called Charles. She leaves tomorrow evening -a sad moment.

Have fun on Tuesday
Cheers

What's the matter?....... Are you chicken?
You'll like the roads and there's plenty of exotic machinery about for you to test your skills against.

Paul, just type Marthall into www.multimap.com. The pub is there on the A537.

Dougs. You are a bloody poser

I saw you, not once, not twice, but three times rumblin through Dyesbury (Didsbury) villaaarrrge as I sat outside Felicini's opposite The Crown slurping pasta. You also had a lady in the passenger seat. Saw your grin, saw your shades and saw how damn clean your S was. How long did it take you to lick that!?

You were concentrating on looking cool so much, you missed me shouting at you. So I think the badge after my name should be transferred to you, Dougie lad. But only when you get your next Tiv.

I take it was an emotional time for you being the last blatt in Janice? Oh and if you're thinking how did I know it was you - I think your reg gave it away D**GY

Looking good so far for everyone who can come or is going to meet us at The Egerton Arms.

Richard

Ah yes, well as it was the first, last and only time I would get to drive Janice through the Villarge, thought I would give her a good look at where I've been living for the last two years!! Was quite funny having her down in this neck, although the roads are a bit busier.

The laugh was, I had so many enquiries about her over the 4 days since I put the advert in Autotrader on tuesday, that at 4pm on Sat, I decided to drive up to Scotland collect the car, drive back down (back in Didders for 11.30!)got to bed by midnight, up at 7 to get sorted for the run, back at 12, washed the beastie, potential buyer arived at 1, sold by 2.30 to the first viewer. On top of that...can it get anymore dramatic...I was in London on Friday afternoon, locked myself out the BM, had to leave it in london over the weekend and hire a bloody Fiat Stilo ESTATE to get back to Manchester. Managed to swap it for a mates E Class though for the run to Scotland on Sat evening.

Now back at my desk in London - feeling like I need a rest!

Just thought I would fill you all in on the weekends activities - no real reason.

Thanks for complimenting Janice Richard - she's well chuffed with those remarks!

Cheers all

Looks like I will be Jessies navigator tomorrow and I do not like the inference that I am on the large side!!!!

I know I could do with losing a few pounds but.......

Now you all owe me a drink!

yes Griffy is still sick!

No inference intended, but if you wanna go down that road...... It's me buffday, please let me get away with it

Yes we know your Griff is sick, so are all TVRs. However, the lads in my street think mine is 'well sick' and I'm still gonna drive mine!..

oh sorry you mean it's not functioning properly. D'oh!

Ok I will let you off as it is your Birthday (today is it not?)

Happy Birthday

The local kids all think my car is 'sick'.
It is amazing how many youngsters now talk to me (to ask how the car is).
My son's mates all arranged for me to collect them for football so my son had to travel in the minibus!

(any excuse to be seen with a 'young man' in the passenger seat!!!!!!!!)

Ellie

see you tomorrow.
