I always go just for a look round the stalls. There is a bloke on the Jaguar pitch I know quite well and he usually wins something so i do a visit to him and breeze past most of the XR3s and stuff.

Jessica - I don't know who you know from this lot but I guarrantee you will know every body before the end of the first round of drinks.
If you do stay, don't plan on getting any sleep, as the the all night bar at the TVR camp area rarely closes before 3 am on the Sunday morning.

AFTER THE DAWN RUN!
that is happening over some pretty spectacular scenery just a short drive from Tatton!

If I haven't used my months fuel allocation by 8.30am... which may be a real possibility

Good idea to get there nice and early and get to the stand before the traffic starts queuing outside Tatton. I'd trying to get there for 9.00am, 9.30pm latest.

Top tip for the campers. Take some earplugs with you or get very very very p!ssed. Its the only way you will get some sleep when camping at the end of a runway used by 747s - believe me.

I'll bring some "Don't even think about touching!" notes for the windscreens (although they could also be used on beer stocks, tents and trousers. ) to keep people from playing with wingmirror buttons and opening your car all bloody day.

Still praying that we get glorious weather - I've ordered it (but not from West Yorkshire!).
