Does anyone know of a Mercedes 300SL Roadster in the Wilmslow/Poynton area? Pretty sure it was red, if my memory serves me correctly. I saw the same car a few times last summer and was never sure if it was the real deal or not - looked stunning though!

Spotted a red kit car between Chorley and Coppull this afternoon; I believe it's called a Raffo as it looked like the same car seen at the Corner House.Classic meet in Wrightington.

Also spotted a blue-ish 60s Ford Mustang (convertible I think) heading through Standish.

There's a guy who goes to rivvi quite regularly in a Red roofless Belva, probably him. If it had no roof it 100% will have been him.

I moved to the NW just 6 months ago from Cornwall where I used to see anything faster/more special than a brand new RS6 about twice a year, just a little context.

McLaren MP4/12C on the A580 at Haydock about 16:30 yesterday.

Looked very understated in a dark colour and unwashed. Quite the stealth supercar.

If you live or work around Wilmslow/Hale/Alderley Edge its really easy to think that super cars are common place. The cars that go past my office window on a daily basis are insane. However outside of this little bubble I can see why an RS6 would be considered exotic, i'll bet sales of those are in the tens per year not thousands.

Bright green Mp4-12c / 12c with number plate T34 SER (with no gap) followed me out of Cheshire Oaks area earlier. Sounded very nice, it was behind me but sounded like it was in front... Went off towards the nuclear place / the wirral.

I don't like to sterotype but the driver looked like a footballer, good on him!

Also earlier near Christleton way, an early model blue TVR.

I am out quite a lot in the week around Cheshire / North Wales and I still hardly see any supercars. See more at weekends but I stay in (roads too dangerous due to MAMIL's).
