Can someone enlighten me about the "N430" on the back please?
It's the version of the model, i.e. it's a Vantage N430. c.f. Golf GTI, Focus RS, Astra GTE, etc,etc, etc.

The less flippant answer is that it refers to the power, i.e. 430bhp.
Thank you, could you tell me where that model sits compared to the V8V etc.?
a few years ago i nearly jumped into an N400 but went another way instead. the "N" refers to Nurburgring where aston have had a lot of success in the 24 hour competitions

I'm rather enjoying learning a bit! As some of you are aware, I know sleghtly less than nothing about cars, so it's all good.
This was round the vorner, it's often about but this is the first time I've got a decent-ish picture, mini wijit likes it but I have no idea if it's a good spot.

I really do not have a clue, but just for reference what do I need to look for to figure if these are real?

just generally fit and finish, badges, does it look like it's a whole package or does it look like a standard one with bits stuck on... i am probably wrong anyway, maybe beards will be along soon.

looking likely fake then. Think the one in the original photo isn't a widebody so maybe that's what was making me think.

Its a fake
Compare the rear lights,rear spoiler and also the fake has some kind of side skirt
The 997 GT3 RS 4.0 was based on a generation 2 car whereas the one in the pic is a generation 1

I'm fortunate enough to have an office window looking over most of Deansgate, so get to see some stunning cars, although you tend to hear them first, but I have noticed that there seems to be tens and tens of AMG GT's about in Manchester at the moment (not right now, but over the last few weeks or so.

Todays count is 6 so far, in all sorts of colours, from a light blue, a brilliant red, and most recently a black with black Alloys and red calipers. with some standard grey/silver ones in between. They are a great looking car and sounds brilliant, especially the exhaust note bouncing off all the buildings. Not one of them is ever driven sedately oddly enough.

Saw one on Friday being driven rather swiftly on Friday. Great sound and made a lovely crack on the way past.

It's a 15 year old Carrera 4.

I know this as I checked it out a while back when it struggled to pull on my diesel rep-mobile on a slip road coming onto the M56.

Yep. Just stick the reg into compare the meerkat* and it says it's a 1999 Carrera.

So it is indeed a 15 year old Carrera.

Oh dear. I've seen it around before as well. I mean fair enough with the bodykit and stuff but the badges are just embarrassing lol.

A couple from Manchester today;
I suspect this is a little more genuine than my previous posted Porsche!

Mini wijit informs me this is a 570s;

Also seen were a Gallardo in a very nice Grey, white Aventador and a lovely old Toyota.
