Can someone enlighten me about the "N430" on the back please?
It's the version of the model, i.e. it's a Vantage N430. c.f. Golf GTI, Focus RS, Astra GTE, etc, etc, etc.The less flippant answer is that it refers to the power, i.e. 430bhp.

I'm rather enjoying learning a bit! As some of you are aware, I know sleghtly less than nothing about cars, so it's all good.
This was round the vorner, it's often about but this is the first time I've got a decent-ish picture, mini wijit likes it but I have no idea if it's a good spot.

I really do not have a clue, but just for reference what do I need to look for to figure if these are real?
just generally fit and finish, badges, does it look like it's a whole package or does it look like a standard one with bits stuck on... i am probably wrong anyway, maybe beards will be along soon.I'm fortunate enough to have an office window looking over most of Deansgate, so get to see some stunning cars, although you tend to hear them first, but I have noticed that there seems to be tens and tens of AMG GT's about in Manchester at the moment (not right now, but over the last few weeks or so.
Todays count is 6 so far, in all sorts of colours, from a light blue, a brilliant red, and most recently a black with black Alloys and red calipers. with some standard grey/silver ones in between. They are a great looking car and sounds brilliant, especially the exhaust note bouncing off all the buildings. Not one of them is ever driven sedately oddly enough.

Saw one on Friday being driven rather swiftly on Friday. Great sound and made a lovely crack on the way past. Compare the rear lights, rear spoiler and also the fake has some kind of side skirt
The 997 GT3 RS 4.0 was based on a generation 2 car whereas the one in the pic is a generation 1

I know this as I checked it out a while back when it struggled to pull on my diesel rep-mobile on a slip road coming onto the M56.
